Hand care

Our product recommendations for well-groomed hands

Who doesn't have to struggle with dry, rough and sometimes chapped hands during the winter months? The cold temperatures undoubtedly leave their mark on the hands. In addition, the current situation takes its toll: frequent washing and the regular use of disinfectants put a particular strain on our hands. That's why they need an extra portion of care right now. It is not without reason that our hands are particularly sensitive and quickly show signs of stress: here we have only a few sebaceous glands, which are responsible for supplying a thin layer of fat and thus protect them from drying out. In addition, there is hardly any fatty tissue on the hands and the skin is very thin, especially on the back of the hand. All this favors the fact that our hands are hardly protected against external influences and the skin quickly loses moisture. And although the hands are currently not our first contact with other people, even in the present time they are an important figurehead and very much shape the external appearance.

For beautiful and well-groomed hands, we recommend using a pH-neutral soap when washing your hands. Please always make sure to use lukewarm water only. Temperatures that are too hot or too cold place additional stress on the skin and extract oil and moisture from it. To remove dead skin cells, it is a good idea to regularly exfoliate or cleanse your hands with a soft brush - this makes for particularly supple and soft skin. Absolutely essential in hand care is the use of a rich and moisturizing cream, preferably several times a day. This prevents dry and cracked skin and protects both hands and fingernails from drying out. To perfect your care routine, you can use a rich nail oil that intensively nourishes and additionally cares for this area. In our store you will find an appealing selection of luxurious hand care products, which we have all carefully selected and which work efficiently so that your hands survive the coming months well.
